Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and elitist LLC (“elitist”, “we”, “us”), and govern the PC tuning service at elitist.gg. By checking the acceptance box before your first tune you agree to them. Please read the risk, warranty, and no-guarantee sections carefully — tuning makes significant, hard-to-reverse changes to a computer you own.
1. What the service does
elitist remotely tunes a gaming PC you own or supply. With your authorization, our automated tuning agent connects over a KVM device you install, enters and modifies your PC’s firmware/BIOS settings and Windows performance settings, runs benchmarks and stress tests, and reboots the machine repeatedly. You authorize these changes to your own hardware for the duration of your membership.
2. Results are not guaranteed
Tuning is not a guarantee of any specific performance improvement. Every system is different; hardware, silicon quality, cooling, drivers, and your own usage all affect the outcome. We target a daily-stable configuration and stop safely if a system falls outside the automated lane, but we do not promise a particular frame rate, benchmark score, temperature, or other result.
3. Assumption of risk
You understand and accept that firmware/BIOS and operating-system changes carry inherent risk, including that:
- the PC reboots repeatedly during tuning and may be temporarily unusable;
- a bad or unstable setting can leave the machine unable to start (no POST) until you physically power-cycle it, clear CMOS, or reset the BIOS;
- a firmware or BIOS change can trigger a BitLocker or other disk-encryption recovery prompt — you are responsible for having your recovery key saved before tuning begins;
- you tune at your own risk. Back up important data first. Because tuning runs on the machine as configured, we strongly recommend a clean Windows installation and keeping no irreplaceable data on the machine during tuning.
4. Warranty caution
Modifying firmware, BIOS, or hardware settings may void the warranty offered by your motherboard, component, or PC manufacturer, including overclocking-related exclusions. You are responsible for understanding your manufacturer’s warranty terms. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
5. Remote access
Setting up tuning installs a persistent remote-control service on the KVM device you connect. It grants the service keyboard, video, mouse, and (where wired) power control of your PC, and it survives reboots until you uninstall it. You may remove it at any time using the uninstall step shown during setup. See also the disclosures presented at KVM enrollment and before your first live tuning session.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, elitist LLC and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, hardware damage, or warranty loss arising from the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Fees and refunds
The tuning service is free at launch. No payment method is required and elitist does not charge you for the KVM or optional power-control hardware you buy from another seller. We may introduce paid plans later, but we will show the price and ask for your express agreement before any charge. If tuning cannot proceed because your system falls outside the automated lane, we stop safely.
8. Your responsibilities
You confirm you own or are authorized to modify the PC being tuned, that you have backed up your data and saved any disk-encryption recovery key, and that you are of legal age to accept these terms.
9. Changes and contact
